SAFETY FIRST ESSENTIALS is there to assist Physician’s, family members or anyone involved when confronting a patient, family member or friend on their driving abilities.
SFE wants to help take the burden off of you if needed in telling someone that their driving skills are at a point to where there is a concern for their lack of handling their vehicle in a safe manner.
We will first do in the comfort of their home explain to the person involved what will be observed during their driving observation while also observing their physical attributes which could have any effect on their skills, followed by observation of their driving skills in the comfort of their own vehicle with an experienced Safety Driving Evaluator.
They will then speak with them on what was determined of their evaluation. If our recommendation is to discontinue driving, SFE feels that by us doing this, this will help remove the burden off all involved and place solely on SFE’s observation which expels future discomfort between those who recommended SFE.
SFE knows and understands the discomfort of approaching someone of this situation. How it can cause friction amongst all involved for long periods of time as a patient, family member or friend.
